The play discusses essential themes such as:
the incommunicability, the interrupted desires,
the hopelessness, the idealized and imposed family life,
and it illuminates inescapable issues such as women's desire to be really free in their choices.
 

The text insists on asking us: how much can we sabotage ourselves to fit certain expectations?
